How is the old age depicted in the Spanish TV Series?

Virginia Guarinos coordinates in 2023 an essential collective work such as El envejecimiento en las series de ficción. In it, the author gives shape to what she calls a guarantee test to conclude what kind of representation there is of the old age in Spanish fiction series of the 21st century. The researchers analyse a wide range of series from different perspectives, from Cuéntame cómo pasó to 30 monedas. Given the rich and varied results obtained, most Spanish series continue to perpetuate ageist tendencies, although some exceptions also demonstrate a small advance in the representation of the third age in Spanish fiction.
